Dr. Catherine Simpson

Dr Catherine Simpson completed her PhD Horticulture at Texas A&M University in 2013.  She joined the Citrus Center as a Research Scientist in 2014 and in September 2015 joined the faculty of the Citrus Center.
Her research interests are focused on analyzing the impacts of abiotic and biotic stresses on tree physiology;  developing nutritional programs to improve citrus production and sustainability; whole systems research (soil, water, plant, insect interrelationships and their effects on production); water quality and drought effects on physiology and production; cropping, nutrient, and irrigation management strategies; and postharvest physiology.
